What to prepare for a lubricant evaluation
You do not need a finished specification to begin a discussion with OYES. A clear account of the component, current issue and intended use is enough to start gathering the right information.
Send the application essentials
- Component or equipment name, with a photograph or drawing where available.
- Materials, contact surfaces, temperature, speed and load.
- Current lubricant reference and the problem you want to address.
- Required dose, packaging format and expected supply quantity.
- Product-specific documents or market requirements needed for review.
Agree the evaluation steps
Ask the team for a recommended starting grade and the available technical information. Confirm the test conditions and record the results on the actual component before making a production decision.
Review the complete supply format
If the lubricant will be included with equipment or a service kit, review filling, packaging and labeling alongside the formulation. This keeps the sample evaluation connected to the final application.
